Admitting inpatients

1. From  Inpatients > Patient Detail, search for a patient.

2. From Patient admin, select Admit.

3. Select Admit to ward - scheduled.

4. Complete the form, including all mandatory fields.

   Mandatory fields are marked .

5. Select Admit.

3. Select Admit to ward - emergency.

4. Complete the form, including all mandatory fields.

   Mandatory fields are marked .

5. Select Admit.

You can discharge a patient from their current inpatient visit, and admit them to the mortuary.

1. From  Inpatients > Patient List > double-click on a patient's name > Patient Detail > Patient admin, select Discharge from ward.

2. To choose the mortuary form, select  next to the name of the discharge form.

3. Complete the form, including all mandatory fields.

   Mandatory fields are marked .

4. Select Discharge Transfer to Mortuary.

   This marks the patient as deceased.
